For instance, it may be permissible to heat with wood using a fireplace or wood burning stove in your area. In some locations, the ground conditions (space for digging) may be ideal for a geothermal system.
The size of the space you want to heat. The square footage of your home is one factor in determining the size heater you need. A heater that’s too small won’t adequately heat your home and will cost more to operate as it will run more often. Also, make certain there’s space in the furnace room for the size/type of heater you are considering.

It is important to know how much you can afford and to be prepared to spend just a bit more than you anticipated if you want a quality heater that will save you money and provide comfort for your family over the long-term.
